Umut Kambak (b.1993, Istanbul) studied at Kemerburgaz University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Plastic Arts. He attended Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty Ceramics Department in 2012. In 2015, He studied at the Western Hungary University and the International Ceramic Studio in Kecskemét (Hungary) with the Erasmus Exchange Program. He completed his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2016. He completed his Master’s degree in the Department of Ceramics in 2019 with his thesis “Art Practices on City and Belonging”. In the same year, he was entitled to receive the Faruk Sade Art Fund. His work was shown in several solo exhibitions including at Museum Evliyagil, Ankara (2019), Gallery Siyah Beyaz, Ankara (2019) and Bilsart, Istanbul (2019). His work was also shown in many group exhibitions and projects in Turkey. He is continuing his Phd education at MSGU.
